Here is the progress on the piece for down in St. George... The color needs to be put on, but it is coming along nicely.

Xango Project
One of the designers of Xango approached me wanting 2 contemporary abstract pieces. Immediately I started reading about Xango and I learned how the founders inspire their workers, distributors, and their customers. That's when I came up with these pieces. The multicolored, long rectangle represents the founders and each square that connects to it represents distributors, workers, and customers. They take what they learned and inspire others. In the end, it all leads back to the founders.
Deveren started out this year with one of his biggest pieces. He built it for a doctor that lives down in St. Goerge, Utah. His house was in the Parade of Homes. Each member of his family plays a different instrument and he wanted the sculpture to portray each one. It consisted of a piano, a symbol, a cello, an electric guitar, a flute, a saxophone, a drum, and clarinet.
"I found a new love; Building instruments. When I was done building it, I realized it needed something more. I added hands to a few of the instruments and it came to life."
That was the beginning of The Hand Series.
